What are the meter-loop pole requirements for a new service?

In order to set a meter, an 18-foot treated pole must be placed with 4 feet in the ground. Tamp dirt must be used around the pole base after every 6” of fill to secure the pole. Once the pole is set, an inspection will need to be completed by the district supervisor or a BWEMC field employee.
