Black Warrior EMC has been fortunate so far during this hurricane season.  Throughout the last month, we have been able to help 3 other Electric Cooperatives in 3 different areas.  From September 3rd through September 14th, Black Warrior EMC sent 2 groups, consisting of 6 lineman and 10 pieces of equipment each time, to Beauregard Electric in Deridder, LA to help restore power after Hurricane Laura.

On September 17th, 10 lineman and 10 pieces of equipment were sent to Southern Pine Electric in Brewton, AL to help with restoration efforts following the aftermath of Hurricane Sally.  We were also able to send 4 linemen and 2 trucks to our neighboring Cooperative, Clarke-Washington EMC on September 17th and 18th.  Black Warrior EMC is always grateful to be able to assist our fellow cooperatives during their times of need, and they would do the same should we ever need assistance.
