Pay Where You Shop
A new payment option, called CheckOut, allows you to make payments on your electric bill at Dollar General, Family Dollar, CVS, and Walgreen stores. It’s not only convenient, it’s simple and easy. All you have to do is take your bill with the barcode unique to your account number to one of the stores in your area and tell the cashier how much you would like to pay on your account. The cashier will scan the barcode and accept your cash payment. The store adds a $1.50 convenience fee and the payment is immediately posted to your account. The cashier does not have access to check the amount of your bill, so you need to have a copy of your bill or check ahead of time to find out how much you need to pay on your bill.
Black Warrior EMC offers a secure way for members to pay their bill online. Click the button below, or the “My Account” tab at the top of the page and it will send you to the online bill pay site. If you do not have a login, please call our office to make sure your account information is correct before attempting to create your login. Members can put their payment in the dropbox at any of our district warehouses as well as our main office.
Pay by Phone
Payments by phone can be made by calling our main office (800-242-2580) and pressing option 2 or by calling 334-345-2510.
Pay by Bank Draft
Black Warrior EMC bank draft makes it easy for members to pay their bill each month without having to write a check and mail or drop off at one of our locations.
With our automatic bank draft option, you will receive a bill from Black Warrior EMC each month indicating the amount of the scheduled draft. Black Warrior EMC processes drafts on the 10th of each month or the first business day following the 10th should it fall on the weekend or a holiday.
